Meet Laura

  • Meet accredited ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia) practitioner, Laura.

    Laura brings with her a wealth of experience in exercise physiology, with particular expertise in muscular and skeletal health, and has a keen interest in lower back and shoulder rehabilitation.

    Her degree qualifications in exercise physiology are complemented by ongoing professional development and education in all areas she treats, from mental health to diseases such as diabetes and muscular-skeletal health,

    Having worked across various healthcare settings, Laura discovered her true passion lies in rehabilitation, helping clients rediscover the joy of movement pain-free.

    Her focus in each session is to help you advance closer to moving without pain and to feel stronger. She strives to give her clients the confidence to perform their daily tasks without the worry of re-injuring themselves.

    While rehabilitation is Laura’s primary focus, her expertise also extends to those seeking performance training guidance.

    Laura loves educating all her clients during sessions so they can understand the science behind the exercises and how performing them properly will benefit them. Your goals are Laura's goals! She’s all about you!

    Laura's a results-oriented professional, but with a playful side! Don't worry about feeling intimidated – her sessions are fun and informative, to keep you coming back for more

    Dog lovers: bonus points! Laura's adorable German Shepherd, Maggie, is a pro at sniffing out opportunities to be the centre of conversation, so a passion for pups will add some spark to your workouts furr-sure.

Our Facilities

Our recently expanded and upgraded clinic provides private consultation and assessment rooms, in addition to having access to a fully equipped gym.

This allows your exercise programming to take full advantage of a much larger range options in your rehabilitation or performance training than most clinics can offer.

While Fundamentals is an independent provider, we are co-located in Goodlife Health and Fitness Club, in Wynnum, in Brisbane’s beautiful Bayside.

The gym includes the latest cardio machines, strength training equipment and machines, a functional training zone, warm up areas, a sauna and locker rooms, as well as 24/7 access.
